I have posted several tasty desserts to help satisfy your sweet tooth, but sometimes there just isn't enough time to make them...I feel your pain! This recipe only has 2 ingredients, requires less than a minute to prepare and will immediately satisfy that sweet craving. I wasn't a big fan of dates before trying this recipe but for some reason, adding a tiny bit of almond butter, tastes INCREDIBLE....Trust me, just one of these will conquer your craving but feel free to have more since they are only 28 calories a piece! Total for one date with almond butter: 28.5 calories, 0.75 g fat, 5.34 carbs, 0.6 g fiber, 0.41 g protein Ingredients:
  • 1 Date
  • 1/2 tsp Almond butter
Instructions: 1. Slice date on one side until you feel seed (or you can use already pitted dates)  2. Remove seed (skip this step if you purchased pre-pitted dates) 3. Add a small sliver of almond butter (about 1/2 tsp) to date  4. Enjoy! IMG_0325 IMG_0335 Love, Marla
