Baked Apples and Cinnamon

You know that annoying little sweet craving you get after you eat a meal? I know it's hard to ignore, so instead of reaching for that high sugar/high calorie treat, try these baked cinnamon apples! It might not sound that exciting, but for some reason a crispy cinnamony baked apple is absolutely delicious! These are simple to make plus this recipe makes a lot so they'll be the perfect go-to treat all week long! These do take about 2.5 hours to bake, so while you're waiting for them, fit in your exercise for the day! 4 Servings per recipe. Nutrition information per serving: 80 calories, 22 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of fiber, 1 gram of protein Ingredients:
  • 4 apples (red, green or both)
  • Cinnamon
  1. Preheat oven 200 degree  
  2. Using a mandolin slice apples very thin. If you don't have a mandolin, you can use a knife, but make sure to slice apples very thin.
  3. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet
  4. Spread out apple slices on parchment paper
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon over all the apples 
  6. Bake apples for about 2 1/2 hours or until the edges of the apples start curling up and become crispy
