Did you notice in the protein pancake recipe, I added chia seeds?! They are so easy to throw into all sorts of recipes and pack quite the nutrition punch! I am just crazy about chia seeds and wanted to give yall the ends and outs of these super seeds! Although, there are tons of great brands out there, I am currently using Navita Naturals (found at Central Market or to order online click on Navita Naturals) and 1 serving size is a tablespoon: 60 calories, 5 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of fiber, 3 grams of protein and 2250mg of omega 3, 805mg of omega 6 and 295mg of omega 9.
