I will never know why 'simple' recipes like steaming or roasting vegetables seem to be the hardest for me to perfect. I either leave them in too long so they become burnt, mushy or tasteless or they are very undercooked! I really hope that I am not the only one out there who struggles! I really like this recipe today because we are bumping up the heat and roasting for a shorter amount of time to make cooking easy, quick and enjoyable! I was very happy with the way these roasted vegetables turned out tender, still firm and full of taste! FINALLY after a year of blogging I have gotten down this 'simple' recipe! You and your family will also enjoy this recipe because it takes little effort or time to make, you could even simplify things one step farther and purchase the pre-cut broccoli from the grocery store to save on prep and clean up time!
Lining your pans and baking dishes with foil is one of life's great inventions, just throw the liner away and boom you've got a clean pan!
