After all the traveling I have been doing lately, it can get tough to resist all of the food temptations that the airports and restaurants provide. While I do believe in splurging a little when you are on vacation, it is important to pick and choose when you are going to indulgent wisely and the airport's free peanuts and cookies on the plane will NOT be what I am going to indulge on! This past trip to Boston I packed tons of healthy snacks for the plane, just like I always do, but I wanted to take my snacking game up a notch with a treat that isn't only healthy but will also satisfy my sweet tooth! Sweet, Cinnamon and Salty!! These babies in the oven make your whole house smell like heaven!! I just love making my own healthy snacks and trail mixes! You know what is going into the food you are eating and don't have to be deceived by false marketing claims! Not to mention, making your own meals and snacks saves a lot of money!! My husband and I both agreed that these tasted amazing and I can't wait to pack them for when we head off to Michigan on Wednesday!!!What is your favorite healthy travel snack to bring with you?
