Healthy Crab Cakes!!!

These crab cakes were a HUGEE hit at Williams-Sonoma, even self-proclaimed 'crab cake lovers' were digging my healthy cakes! My recipe doesn't include products like heavy whipping cream or mayo because I have replaced those ingredients with.... plain greek yogurt (who would have thought?!) My crab cakes would be perfect to add a little excitement to your meal plan or great to serve as an appetizer at your next party! Makes 12 Crab cakes (I made these on the smaller side) Nutrition Facts per serving: 53 calories, 2.6 grams of carbohydrates, 8.25 grams of protein, 1 gram of fat Ingredients:
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 medium finely minced red onion
  • 2 tbsp Panko
  • 1 tbsp plain greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp parsley
Instructions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.   2. Form into patties and place on a skillet, low-medium heat, cook each side for about 4-5 minutes until tops are browning 3. Enjoy!   P1040371 P1040376 P1040386 P1040387 Love, Marla
