- 1/4 cup serving size: 205.7 calories, 17.7 grams fat, 7.7 carbs, 5 grams protein
- 1 Tablespoon serving size: 51.4 calories, 4.4 grams of fat, 1.9 grams of carbohydrates, and 1.3 grams of protein
- 1 cup raw almonds
Instructions: 1. Add 1 cup raw almonds to food processor 2. Process until smooth, approximately 10-15 minutes. Every 3 minutes, stop and scrape the sides.
This step takes a lot of time!! At first the almonds will turn into almond 'meal' and then after 10-15 minutes the almonds will start to form the butter! The photo on top shows the almonds half way through the process! finished almond butter after about 12 minutes in the processor!! Have you ever tried to make your own almond butter?
