Happy RD Day!!! This fun day (for myself) comes around once a year and although it tends to be rather uneventful to I would to take a moment to not just celebrate RD's but our amazing clients who allow us to come into your lives and flip everything upside down and you do it willingly!! One of the best parts about my job is when my clients have their 'ah-ha' moment and everything seems to click, they start to veer away from the set meal plan, gain confidence in their own choices, start exploring how to make healthy work for them and begin to add/change or even make brand new recipes like my client Sandra!! Today I am sharing her recipe for fun and ridiculously delicious cocktail that won't blow your diet! Being healthy is about being creative and finding healthy or healthier alternatives to your old way of life and for a lot of my clients that means not giving up their social life and alcohol and believe me, I am right there with them!! How can you stick to something long term if it doesn’t fit into your lifestyle?! Which is why I love this recipe so much!! All alcohol and real fruit, no hidden sugars or crazy chemicals! I also think this drink would be PERFECT for a party setting because who doesn't love a yummy cocktail?! Lastly, a HUGE thanks to Sandra for sharing this recipe with us!!!
