Workout Wednesday: Burpees With A Push-up! July 09 2014, 0 Comments I definitely have a love hate relationship with Burpees. They are a very challenging exercise, so you may hate them while you're doing it but you'll love how many calories you can burn and how it works your entire you're not just working one muscle, you're working almost every muscle!! Another great thing about burpees is you don't need any equipment and you can do them anywhere! This is how we incorporate burpees into our workout regimen:
  • Run on the treadmill or outside at a challenging pace for 2 minutes
  • Do 15 burpees with a push-up
  • Repeat this for 30 minutes or when you've reached 3 miles
I have to warn you that this is challenging so modify it accordingly, but don't forget that in order to see results, it needs to be difficult. If it's too easy, increase your pace/incline, avoid taking breaks in between each burpee and try to do them as fast as you can while still keeping the correct form!
